The National Gallery of Jamaica is located in the Kingston Mall on Orange Street and Ocean Boulevard.


By Bus, take the:

• 78 to Church Street from Crossroads, Hope Road and Uptown (Papine)
• 30 to Harbour Street from Molynes Road
• 32 to Parade from Washington Boulevard

By Car: from Liguanea and Uptown
Continue down Old Hope Road until you reach Crossroads. Turn left on to Caledonia Avenue and then take the first right turning on to Marescaux Road; this will take you down to National Heroes Circle. Continue until you reach the Ministry of Education and Youth and then turn left on to East Street. Take East Street all the way down to the waterfront and the Bank of Jamaica. Turn right at the Bank of Jamaica then immediately left onto Ocean Boulevard. Follow the waterfront on Ocean Boulevard and take the third right on to Orange Street. You will see the National Gallery on your left.

By Car: from Spanish Town
Continue straight on the Spanish Town Bypass until you reach Mandela Highway. Take the right turn on to Spanish Town Road at Six Miles and continue straight until you reach Three Miles at the Portia Simpson-Miller Boulevard. Take the right turn onto Marcus Garvey Drive and continue straight until you reach the end of Marcus Garvey Drive at West Street. Turn right at the traffic lights and pass the Craft Market on your right and continue straight along the waterfront on Ocean Boulevard. Take the third turning on your left. You will now be on Orange Street. You will see the National Gallery on your left.

By Car: from Portmore
Continue straight on the Portmore-Kingston Causeway until you reach Marcus Garvey Drive. Take the right turn onto Marcus Garvey Drive and continue straight until you reach the end of Marcus Garvey Drive at West Street. Turn right at the traffic lights and pass the Craft Market on your right and continue straight along the waterfront on Ocean Boulevard. Take the third turning on your left. You will now be on Orange Street. You will see the National Gallery on your left.

By Car: from Norman Manley Airport
Leaving the Airport, travel towards Kingston along the Norman Manley Highway. Turn left at the roundabout at Harbour View on to the Florizel Glasspole Boulevard and continue straight. You will pass a power plant and two sets of traffic lights. Continue on this road beside the harbour for about 4 miles until you reach a roundabout. Stay to the left and follow the road until it reaches Port Royal Street and the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Eventually you will reach a group of tall office buildings. Take the left turn at the Air Jamaica building (clearly marked). You will pass the Scotia Bank Car Park on your right. Turn right at the Bank of Jamaica, then immediately left onto Ocean Boulevard. Follow the waterfront and take the third right on to Orange Street. You will see the National Gallery on your left.

Parking
There is a secured UDC car park beside the National Gallery. The fee is $100 per hour. There is no charge on weekends.
